Golf has become popular in this province and people of all ages are taking to the greens. Our readers have given us their call about places to play golf, so if you'd like to tee off soon, give one of these a try:

Sports Team

Avalon: Well they didn't win The Calder Cup, but they provided many good hours of enjoyment watching them try; The St. John's Maple Leafs whom our readers voted number one. The MUN Seahawks were second and The Rock was third.
Off the Avalon: Again readers off the Avalon voted The St. John's Maple Leafs as their favourite sports team, while the Deer Lake Red Wings, who won the Herder Memorial Cup, were second.

Off the Avalon: Obviously a great resort, Kilmory also won with voters off the Avalon. Marble Mountain was second with Twillingate Island Tourist Resort was third.
